Engineering

This week, my class and room 10 learnt about engineering from our instructor. The instructor told us what we were going to do; there were different groups. There was a group building a bridge. They had to make sure that all of the wires were clicked in, and at the end they all had to walk on it to make sure it was ok.  And there was a group that made a tower made out of straws and one stripe of blue tape, and they had to make the best out of the strip, and then they had to make a good enough and strong enough tower for it to hold two ping pong balls. I was in that group, and we made a strong enough tower, and there were two other groups, but there was one that did something similar to us; they made a tower, but out of paper, they made a big tower. There was one more group; they made a little tower made out of chopsticks, but I didn’t get to see it because their heads were looking over it.

At the end of all the building, the teacher told us about engineering, and then she told us about the safety of engineering.
