Another week of Engineering.Today we made a Matariki kit.Inside the kit.There were two lines there was a blue line and a yellow line but first we had to line it up with the copper tape that was given to us that was what we used then we put the copper tape in line with the blue line but it was not easy because after we do the blue line we have to do the yellow line but when we were doing the blue line we sometime messed up and had to do it again and again when we were almost done we got told that we had to do the yellow line two then my group got mad because the blue one was hard enough to line up then we lined up the yellow one but the yellow one was so hard because the blue line and the yellow line kept on connecting then we finished and we got this circle battery and when you go to close it then lights will show up.

This week my class went to kiwi can and when we got in the door we sat in four lines and then kiwi can said hello in cook island then she asked did anyone know were that word came from then someone said cook island and then kiwi can said yes that is correct and then we moved on to facts and then some of my class started saying facts and then one said that the 15 stars on the flag is how many island there are then kiwi can said that there was a burger that was so big it was the size as a chrome book open then we went to go do a little game called emotions kiwi can would call up four people and they will look at the board and there would be a word and you will have to act like it then when we finshed that game we talked about it like what happen and what we did then when we finshed that we went to anthour game and we had to do a play and make it good then my group went up and then the first play we did was my friend did a dance and then the girl in my group had to make fun of him and then when she was being mean there was a anthour girl that came to back up my firend and then she said sorry and then it was all over.

Another week of engineering. Today the year 7 and 8 students were building a water filter, but first we came in the hall and sat down on the floor, and then the teacher started talking about what we had to do and what we needed to do, and then my teacher asked us if we brought a plastic bottle because that was what we needed for the water filter, but the engineering teacher brought so many plastic bottles, but if there aren’t enough, then we will have to pair up and do it. First we got some scissors and cut the bottle in half, and then we got the top part and flipped it upside down and put it in the bottom, and then my friend got this type of paper and put it in. Then when he put it in, he closed the part where you drink out of with the paper, and then we got this type of sand or rocks, and then we went to Whaea Ellen, and then she put water in the plastic bottle, but mine went wrong because the rocks broke out of place, and then the water got dirty right when we were about to take a photo.

This week the whole senior school did speeches, but in every class there were only two boys and two girls presenting, but in my class there was only one girl and two boys. But when they started to do it, the teacher, Ellen, got our class to come up but we came to the stage last because all the classes went first but when she called them up they came and sat down on the chair and then the first person went up and talked about were he used to live and how he left and moved to papakura and how all of his family lived there and all  the schools went to. Then the girl that was in my class went up and talked about her island and how the water laevl was raiseing and how it was passing away I don’t know what her island was but it was a cool island.Then my friend went up and talked about the philippines and poverty and how it affects everything.

in kiwi can today we talk about integrity and what it means. we write about Integrity in poams there was so many words when we had kiwi can like so many kindful words when it  was my groups trun we did the same thing.

in this week I will be talking about what I like  about this week. what I like about this week the things I like was my spelling and my Math  because my spelling was the best because we had to 3 activates   we had to cut words out of a book and spell the words my techa told as to write

for reading we are learning about Māui ,and the big fish . The big fish was known, as Aotearoa and when Māui got the fish they were happy  but when Māui went to go get the others the brothers were cutting peicecs of Aotearoa so Māui got angry and told them off and then they got in trouble so they had to cut the little fish, because
